Ways to Use Zip and Abby

Zip and Abby can be used by most children independently. But you may enjoy sharing the experience with your child, in one of these ways:

• Read the words together.
• Talk about what’s going on in the picture.
• Pause the story to talk or ask questions about it.
• Keep it enjoyable.
• After a lesson, your child may wish to
  • Do a different lesson
  • Listen to the story again
  • Start the lesson over
  • Take a break
• When attention lags, it’s best to stop.
